An intense gunfight is raging between supporters of Kelvin Ibruvwe, ‘Niger Delta’s Most Wanted Kidnap Kingpin ‘, and security operatives in Kokori, Delta.
The fight reportedly broke out after Ibruvwe was arrested in Port Harcourt earlier this morning. Ibruvwe had declared war on the Federal Government if a 60 days ultimatum to develop the Urhobo areas of the state was not met.
A joint team of law enforcement officials from SSS Headquarters, Abuja and local agents in Delta State traced him to a hotel where he was arrested at about 3am. - Nigeria Newsdesk
